Ado-Odo/Ota LG Chairman Felicitates Citizens on Democracy Day

The Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA, has  pledged to uphold the tenets of democracy by ensuring transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in the governance of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government.

The local government boss,Alhaji Lawal Adewale made this statement in a chat with the journalists in his office in Ota saying it is a day to extend warm greetings to all citizens and residents of the local government on the occasion of Democracy Day.

He reaffirmed his commitment to working tirelessly to improve the lives of citizens and promote sustainable development adding that it is imperative to reflect on the significance of democracy, its core principles of freedom, justice, and equality.

The Chairman acknowledged the progress made in the local government also recognizing the challenges that still need to be addressed urging all citizens to exercise their rights and responsibilities and to participate actively in shaping the collective future of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government. 

Lawal called on citizens to work together to build a stronger, more prosperous, and united local government adding that  Democracy Day celebration serves as a reminder of the importance of citizen participation and good governance in shaping the future of the local government.
