 *LASU VICE-CHANCELLOR AND UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR CONGRATULATE MR ADEWUNMI SAMUEL OLORI ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS PIONEER REGISTRAR, GREENLAND UNIVERSITY, JALINGO, TARABA STATE*

The Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor Ibiyemi *OLATUNJI-BELLO*, mni, NPOM, and the University Registrar, Mr Emmanuel A. *FANU*, MANUPA, FCAI, have congratulated Mr Adewunmi Samuel *OLORI* on his appointment as the Pioneer Registrar of Greenland University, the first private university in Taraba State, Nigeria.

Mr *OLORI*, until his new appointment, served as Deputy Registrar/Administrative Secretary, Masters of Public Administration (MPA) Programme Office, Lagos State University (LASU), where he built an outstanding career in university administration. Since joining the University in 2009 as an Administrative Officer II, he rose steadily through the ranks, serving in several strategic Registry Divisions and Units, including the Vice-Chancellor's Office, Academic Staff Establishments Division, Non-Academic Staff Establishments Division, Postgraduate School, Legal Affairs Division, School of Transport and Logistics, Masters of Public Administration Programme Office, Registrar's Office, and the Centre for Financial Forensic Investigation and Analytics. He also distinguished himself through his dedicated service on more than twenty-five University committees, where he served meritoriously as Member/Secretary.

The Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar noted that Mr *OLORI*'s appointment reflects the calibre of administrators produced by Lagos State University and further underscores the institution's continued impact on the Nigerian higher education landscape.

The duo, on behalf of the entire University community, celebrates this remarkable milestone and wishes Mr *OLORI* a successful and rewarding tenure as he contributes to laying a solid administrative foundation for the growth, development, and advancement of Greenland University.

Mr *OLORI* joins the growing list of administrative staff of Lagos State University who have recently been appointed to leadership positions across tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
