OGUN TESCOM ASSURES CONTINUED PARTNERSHIP WITH ANCOPSS, OTHER EDUCATION UNIONS
The Ogun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), has reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining its partnership with the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) and other teaching and non-teaching staff unions in the State.
Chairman of the Commission, Apostle ‘Biodun Sanyaolu, gave the assurance at the State Executive Council meeting of State ANCOPSS at Owode Egba Grammar School, Owode.
Sanyaolu said the cordial relationship between TESCOM and the unions was vital to achieving the agency’s mandate of improving the quality of education and ensuring efficient service delivery in Public Secondary Schools across the State.
He attributed the Commission’s recent achievements under the current Board which included, digital transformation, strategic human resource management and a comprehensive staff verification exercise, among others to the support and cooperation of the unions.
Describing Principals as the chief executives of their schools, the TESCOM Chairman urged them to lead by example through punctuality, dedication, hard work as well as professional conduct.
“I commend the Ogun State ANCOPSS for its consistent efforts in strengthening leadership, fostering professionalism, collaboration and advancing the standards of public secondary schools in the State,” Sanyaolu said.
In his remarks, President of ANCOPSS in Ogun State, Mr. Alaba Olugbewesa, lauded TESCOM for its innovative leadership and policies, which he described as a game-changer in the agency’s operations.
Olugbewesa added that the meeting provided a platform for deliberating on issues critical to the growth and development of the association across the State’s four divisions.
