 MAKE YOUR SCHOOLS CENTRES OF EXCELLENCE: OGUN COMMISSIONER CHARGES RELIGIOUS SCHOOL OWNERS


In a bid to ensure that religious schools across Ogun State are repositioned in providing qualitative education to the citizenry, Commissioner for Education Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, has charged school owners to adopt technology as a necessary mechanism that would transform their schools into centre of excellence.


Prof. Arigbabu, gave the charge during the 2026 Education Summit of the League of Muslim School Proprietors ( LEAMSP), Ogun State Chapter, with the theme ‘Redefining Quality Education in Muslim Schools: Excellence, Value and Global Competence’, at Abeokuta.

He reiterated that the present administration had prioritised provision of qualitative and accessible education to the citizenry, hence, the introduction of technology to drive the entire sector.

The Commissioner assured that the Dapo-Abiodun-led administration would not leave any stone unturned to ensure that both government and non-government institutions, including religious schools key into the new wave of transformation to ensure that the entire education sector of the State was revatilised.

"As Muslim School Owners, you should inculcate all moral values and religious lessons into learners. Right from the entrance of your schools, People should see the type of desirable model you represent,’’ the Commissioner submitted.

Speaking, Chairman of the occasion, Alh. Abdulhameed Omoowo, said that quality education was all about its output which would enable the recipients to live happy, fulfilling and independent religious lives, adding that it would also guarantee a peaceful and progressive society.
