OGSTVEB BOSS BAGS ANTI-CORRUPTION LEADERSHIP AWARD
The Acting Executive Secretary of the Ogun State Technical and Vocational Education Board OGSTVEB, Mrs. Mojisola Adenowo, has been honored with the Excellent Anti-Corruption Leadership Award by the Fight against Corruption Organisation FACO in recognition of her integrity, transparency and commitment to responsible leadership in public service.
The award was presented during a courtesy visit by a delegation from FACO, led by its Executive Chairman, Mr. Francis Sopekan, at the Conference Room of the Board, State Secretariat, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Sopekan said the award was in recognition of Mrs. Adenowo’s exemplary leadership style and prudent management of public resources since assuming office, describing the leadership of OGSTVEB under Mrs. Adenowo, as a shining example of integrity and accountability in the public sector.
He noted that the Board’s commitment to transparency and diligence in handling government resources stood out during the organisation’s assessment process, hence, the award was presented to appreciate the Acting Executive Secretary’s dedication, discipline and unwavering commitment to strengthening technical and vocational education in the State through effective administration and responsible governance.
In her response, the Acting Executive Secretary expressed profound gratitude to God for the recognition and dedicated the award to the entire management and staff of the Ogun State Technical and Vocational Education Board.
She also appreciated the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, for the confidence reposed in her and for the administration’s continued support for educational development in the State.
She further acknowledged the contributions of the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Mariam Oloko, while commending staff of the Board across the headquarters, Government Technical Colleges and other affiliated centers for their unwavering dedication. Mrs. Adenowo noted that the honor would further inspire OGSTVEB to sustain transparency, accountability and excellence in service delivery across Ogun State.
