Explaining further on the peculiarity of Sango-Ota, the Chairman said the proximity of Ado-Odo/Ota local government to Lagos State should reflect in its level of organisation and development, noting that efforts to achieve this had often been hindered by non-compliance from some residents and traders, but, with the State intervention, he believed, this would be achievable seamlessly.

He reiterated that his administration remained fully committed to working with the Ogun State Ministry of Environment to ensure the success of the relocation exercise for the safety and benefit of residents, lamenting that several lives have been lost due to accidents caused by brake failures around the Tollgate area in Ota.
