BOSS VISITS FAMILY OF LATE NCWS LEADER
The Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Lawal Wasiu, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Southwest Coordinator of the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), Alhaja Tawakalitu Aroboto, who was also the Gbobaniyi of Ota Aworiland and Southwest Secretary of the NASFAT Children’s Wing in Ota, Ogun State.
The Chairman, Hon. Wasiu, who was accompanied during the visit by the Secretary to the Local Government, Mr. Ogabi Mohammed; the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Babatunde Adesina; Special Adviser, Hon. Ajayi Badmus and other management staff, described the deceased as a committed advocate for women’s empowerment and community development, noting that her contributions left a lasting impact on society.
“She lived a meaningful life, full of positive impact. She was loved and we know that Almighty God loved her more. May her soul rest in peace,” the Chairman said, as he offered prayers for the repose of her soul and strength for the family she left behind in this trying times.
Responding on behalf of the family, Mr. Lukman Lawal, expressed appreciation to the Chairman for the visit and support shown especially during the moment of grief.
Also speaking, the deceased’s daughter, Mrs. Tope Aroboto, thanked the Chairman for the gesture and appealed for continued support for women-focused programmes in the local government.
