ADO-ODO/OTA SECRETARIAT UNDERGOES ASPHALT UPGRADE
The Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Secretariat is undergoing a significant facelift following the approval of an asphalt overlay on the premises road network, aimed at improving both functionality and aesthetics within the complex.
Chairman of the Council, Hon. Lawal Wasiu, disclosed this while speaking with Journalists in his office at the Council secretariat, said the first phase of the project had been completed, noting that the initial stage focused on resurfacing key areas of the secretariat to tackle long-standing challenges such as waterlogging and deteriorating road surfaces, which had hindered smooth movement within the premises.
Wasiu added that the upgrade reflected his administration’s commitment to creating a more conducive and efficient working environment for staff, as well as a more welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
He further assured the workers that efforts to transform the secretariat would be sustained, emphasising his administration’s dedication to continuous infrastructural development across the local government.
The development had been widely applauded by workers and residents, who described it as a practical and visible step towards improving the overall outlook and functionality of the local government headquarter.
