Union Bank Executives Inducted as Registered Advertising Practitioners

The induction ceremony, held recently at Stallion Plaza, Marina, Lagos, brought together senior officials of ARCON and marketing professionals from the bank.
Among those present were the Chief Brand and Marketing Officer, Union Bank of Nigeria, Mrs. Olufunmilola Aluko; Director-General of ARCON, Dr. Olalekan Olumuyiwa Fadolapo; and Director, Regulation, Monitoring and Enforcement, ARCON, Mrs. Emme Akande.
Also inducted were the Head, Strategic Brand Management, Mr. Alvin Agorom; Head, Product Marketing, Mr. Ejiebhen Egbomondion; and Head, Strategic Communications and Media, Mr. Olufisayo Adelekun, alongside other Union Bank officials.
The ceremony officially admitted the executives into the register of recognised advertising practitioners in Nigeria, in line with the council’s mandate to regulate and standardise advertising practice across the country.
ARCON said the induction underscores the importance of ethical standards, professional competence and adherence to established advertising regulations within corporate organisations.
The event also highlighted the increasing role of integrated marketing communication and responsible brand messaging in Nigeria’s financial services sector.
