GTCO Hosts Maiden Holiday Edition of Food & Drink Festival in Lagos

Lagos, Nigeria — Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO) is set to host the maiden Holiday Edition of the GTCO Food & Drink Festival, which begins on Friday, December 20, at the GT Centre, Oniru, Lagos. The two-day event will run through Saturday, December 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, with free entry for the public.

The festival will feature over 213 Nigerian-owned food and beverage vendors, showcasing a wide range of local and contemporary culinary offerings. Participating brands include Palm Afrika, Firewood Jollof, Rocky’s Grills & Barbecue, Polo Club Suya, Thugg Burgers, Pizzawheels, Chow Noodle Bar, Vestar Coffee, among others.

Organisers say the Holiday Edition is designed to celebrate Nigeria’s vibrant food culture while creating a family-friendly atmosphere for the festive season. In addition to food exhibitions, the event will offer several attractions such as a Christmas Village, Street Food Hub, Children’s Play Zone, and live entertainment, providing a complete holiday experience for attendees of all ages.

The GTCO Food & Drink Festival has become known for supporting indigenous businesses and promoting entrepreneurship within Nigeria’s food ecosystem. This Holiday Edition aims to further expand that platform by giving greater visibility to homegrown brands during the peak festive period.

Members of the media covering the event will be able to obtain press tags at the venue, as arrangements have been made to facilitate media access throughout the festival.

With a blend of food, entertainment, and holiday-themed activities, the GTCO Food & Drink Festival Holiday Edition is expected to attract a large turnout and add colour to Lagos’ end-of-year celebrations.
