Konifewo Lions Club Donates To United Anglican School
In a bid to support the educational development of pupils in the community, the Lions Club of Konifewo, under the leadership of President Kehinde Oke, has donated 250 exercise books, 500 pieces of writing materials, and 50 pieces of uniforms to the United Anglican School, Konifewo, Ota.
The donation, made as part of the club's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aims to provide support to the pupils and enhance their learning experience. The gesture is a testament to the club's commitment to giving back to the community and promoting education.
The pupils and staff of the school expressed their gratitude to the Lions Club for the generous donation, which is expected to go a long way in supporting the school's academic activities.
President Kehinde Oke, in his remarks, emphasized the importance of education in the development of the community and the nation at large. He noted that the club's donation is a small contribution to the noble cause of promoting education and empowering the next generation.
Responding, the Head Mistress, Mrs Victoria Eledu thanked the President and the entire team of Konifewo Lions club saying this is a good step in the right direction .
The donation ceremony was attended by the school's administration, teachers, and pupils, who all expressed their appreciation for the Lions Club's kindness and generosity.
