*80 NEW POLITICAL APPOINTEES SWORN-IN IN ADO-ODO/OTA LG*

In a bid to strengthen grassroots governance and bring democracy closer to the people, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Chairman, Hon. Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA, has sworn-in 80 new Senior Political Assistants.
The ceremony, held at the Local Government Hall, saw the appointees take oaths of office, following their appointment by Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun CON.
In his charge to the new appointees, Hon. Lawal emphasized that their roles were not just positions of authority but a call to service urging them to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the local government, Ogun State, and the nation as a whole.
The Chairman expressed gratitude to Governor Abiodun for entrusting these key roles to the appointees adding that the swearing-in ceremony is seen as a demonstration of the government’s resolve to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach all levels of society.
"The new appointees are expected to play a crucial role in implementing policies and programs that will benefit the people of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government and Ogun State at large",he said.
On behalf of the appointees, Hon. Olanrewaju Yakub assured that they would serve with loyalty, integrity, and commitment to the people, working tirelessly to make the present administration in Ogun State a remarkable one.
He thanked Governor Abiodun for the appointment, describing it as a testament to the Governor's commitment to strengthening governance at the grassroots level and empowering local leaders.
