LASU VC praises appointment of Prof. Makinde as incoming Crawford University VC

The Lagos State University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, has applauded the appointment of Professor Solomon Olanrewaju Makinde as the fifth Vice-Chancellor, Crawford University, Lusada, Igbesa, Ogun State, Nigeria

Prof. Olatunji-Bello noted that the appointment of Makinde, a former Dean, Faculty of Education, Lagos State University, was a testament to the quality of academics at the most digitally advanced state university in Nigeria.

Her words: “ Professor Makinde’s appointment will take effect from Monday, 6th October 2025, following the completion of the tenure of the incumbent Vice-Chancellor, Professor Reuben Jiya Kolo.

“His appointment as Vice-Chancellor is further testament to the quality of academics at the most digitally advanced state university in Nigeria.

“On behalf of the university community, we celebrate this landmark achievement and wish Professor Solomon Olanrewaju Makinde a successful and impactful tenure of office, LASU VC stated.”
