Oba of Ilogbo Land Honors 5 American Missionaries with Chieftaincy Titles
The Oniliogbo of Ilogbo land in Ota, Ogun State, Oba Samuel Olufemi Ojugbele, has conferred traditional chieftaincy titles on five American missionaries in recognition of their contributions to the development of the community.
The honored individuals are Tony and Katie Losinger as Atomose and Yeye Atomose of Ilogbo land, Tim and DanaeHandor as Gbomoniyi and Yeye Gbomoniyi of Ilogbo land and SandyJacobs Iya Ewe of Ilogbo land . The monarch expressed his delight in conferring the titles, citing the significant impact the missionaries have had on the community.
Oba Ojugbele praised Pastor Dr. Emmanuel and Deaconess Blessings Oluwayemi, founders of Life Builders Ministry International, for their instrumental role in fast-tracking development in the area.
In response, Pastor Dr. Emmanuel Oluwayemi expressed gratitude to the monarch, stating that the honor is a testament to the missionaries' selfless commitment to caring for orphans, widows, and vulnerable individuals in the society.
