LG Chairman Strengthens Partnership with Industries to Drive Development

LG CHAIRMAN SEEKS PARTNERSHIP WITH PRIVATE SECTOR TO DRIVE DEVELOPMENT





The Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Lawal Wasiu, has taken significant steps to strengthen partnership with industries in the area of mutual interest, revenue generation, traffic management, infrastructural development, security as well as revenue collection.


The LG Boss, stated this during his recent tour to private organisations within the Local Government Area, emphasising the importance of collaboration between the Local Government and Private Sectors.


He stressed that partnering with the local government was imperative in addressing revenue leakages and harassment issues across the Local Government Areas.


The Chairman assured that, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government would support companies and stakeholders to achieve their goals, driving growth and development in the Council area.


‘’Our partnership with private sector in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government is aimed at delivering on our core responsibilities and alleviate challenges being faced by residents; we are to  demonstrate commitment towards ensuring a development-driven leadership," he said.


Speaking, General Manager, Crown Pack Nigeria Limited, Otunba Chris Uzoalu, said that the visit marks significant steps towards strengthening ties between the Local Government and key establishments.


In the same vein, the Chairman, Alhaji Lawal Wasiu visited the Management team of a Radio Station led by Busayo Olaiya, who promised to ensure publicity of the Local Government policies and programmes across the area.
