*OLOTA COMMENDS GOVERNMENT ON SANGO - OTA - IDIROKO ROAD CONSTRUCTION*
Olota of Ota, Oba Professor Abdukabir Obalanlege has lauded the determination of the present administration in Ogun State on the on - going road construction along Sango - Ota Idiroko that will turn around socio economic activities and promote the wellbeing of the people in the area.
The Monarch disclosed this in an interview with Journalists in his place in Ota, explaining that property owners affected by the road construction have sacrificed to attract huge economic development when completed.
He said the development which had come at the right time to re - establish Ota and its adjourning communities as ''a attractive city'' , adding that it would bless the town with a new facelift and boost its socio-economic activities in the state.
" We have all been expecting a developmental road construction like this. The entire Ota residents are happy to receive this and they are show understanding, cooperate with the Government and continue to pray for the wellbeing of the state government", the king said.
Speaking, the former Commissioner, Ogun State Ministry Of Community Development & Cooperatives, Chief Samuel Aiye dogbon, commended Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration in Ogun State for the Sango - Ota - Idiroko road construction and for going extra miles in attending to the yearnings of the people by flagging - off the Sango -Ota Lagos Abeokuta express road which would boost the socio economic activities of the state and make life more meaningful for the people
Mr Taofeek Akorede, a shop owner at Oju-Ore Ota said it was a long awaited development which all residents must embraced not minding the hardship and sacrifice they have to pay in ensuring the successful completion of the road.
A motorist at Oju-Ore Ota, Mr Emmanuel Olaleye said the road network would increase the life span of their vehicles as well as boost the economic activities which would invariably usher in more profit, urging the people to corporate with the Government's efforts.
The Area 4 commander, Adekunle Ajibade said operatives of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, TRACE and other stakeholders in the transport sector in the area would ensure free flow of vehicular activities during the road constructions, enjoining motorists to be law abiding as traffic lawlessness would not be tolerated.
