13TH GATEWAY INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR COMMENCES TOMORROW
The 13th Gateway International Trade Fair will commence on Friday, April 19, 2024 and run till Monday, April 29, 2024, at the M.K.O Abiola Trade Fair Complex, Laderin, Abeokuta
A release signed by the Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Adebola Sofela, stated that the Fair, organised by Ogun State Government, in collaboration with Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMA), with the theme, “Achieving Economic Prosperity Through Business Connection, Trade and Investment”, would be declared open by the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
It indicated that the Fair would afford local and international exhibitors the opportunity to showcase a wide range of products, just as it noted that this year’s edition would be an improvement of previous ones, with different innovations including a Raffle Draw which attracts the grand prize of a two-bedroom bungalow, as well as other consolation prizes.
“We enjoin Nigerians to be part of this year’s edition of the Gateway International Trade Fair. The State government in collaboration with OGUNCCIMA has put in necessary measures to ensure this edition surpasses all the past ones through increased product offerings and different initiatives,” the release stated.
According to the release, free buses would be available to convey members of the public from different routes including, OPIC Roundabout/Kuto, Lafenwa/Olomoore/Ita-Osin and Adatan/Fajol/Obantoko axes, as part of efforts to ease movement of participants and visitors to the Fair.
It added that there would be an Entertainment Village, where people could relax, enjoy local delicacies, beverages and music at the Gateway International Trade Fair, enjoining members of the public to call 08022234275, for more enquiries.
