 GOV. ABIODUN APPROVES APPOINTMENT OF 4 NEW PERM. SECS

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries in demonstration of his resolve to revitalise and enhance the quality of the Civil/Public Service of the State.

The new appointment was contained in a release signed by the Head of Service, Mr Kolawole Fagbohun, listing the appointees as, Mrs. Roseline Jacobs, Mr. Samuel Oyeleye, Mrs. Kehinde Akinola and Mr. Oladipupo Ogunfowora.


The release indicated that prior to their appointment, Mrs. Jacobs was the Director of Administration and Supplies, GL.17, Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs; Mr. Oyeleye was the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, GL.17, Ministry of Information and Strategy; Mrs. Akinola was the Director of Protocol, GL. 16, Bureau of Protocols and Ceremonials, while Mr. Ogunfowora was the Director of Administration, Ogun State Television (OGTV), GL 16.

The release indicated that the appointment was in tandem with the provision of Section 208(c) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and was based on merit, professionalism, inclusiveness and seniority, as well as their success at the Pipeline Leadership Development Programme conducted for Directors as part of eligibility for appointment into the position of Permanent Secretaries in the State Service.

 Mr. Fagbohun however enjoined the new appointees to demonstrate dedication, diligence and selflessness more than before in their new roles and relentlessly pursue excellence in Service, as they join hands with other stakeholders in actualising the 'Building Our Future Together' agenda of the present administration.
