ADD VALUE TO TRACE, COMMANDER CHARGES PROMOTED OFFICERS
The Commander and Chief Executive Officer, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), Commander 'Seni Ogunyemi, has charged the newly promoted officers of the agency to deploy their wealth of experience in improving the services of the agency.
The newly decorated operatives were Commander Obadina Samson, Assistant Chief Traffic Superintendent, Cdr. Kelani Bunmi as Principal Traffic Officer, Cdr. Ayeroju Haruna, Senior Traffic Officer, and 12 others were promoted to the rank of Higher Traffic Superintendent.
Speaking during the ceremony, held at the command base at Mile 2, Rounder, Abeokuta, Commander Ogunyemi showered encomium on the newly decorated officers for their dedication to duty, and urged them to continue to be good ambassadors of the agency.
Ogunyemi represented by the Director of Education and Public Enlightenment, Cdr. Morolake Filani advised them to be very sensitive, vigilant, and civil on duty.
"After this promotion, please, put in your best as you are acting on behalf of the Government. You must do this job in a civilized manner. Don't talk rudely to offenders, show maturity in all you do, and don't tarnish the image of TRACE and your family. Many people are watching us, especially in this era of technology and new media. Also, be careful and make sure you protect yourselves too, be security conscious as our safety is paramount" the TRACE Boss said.
In their goodwill messages, the Provost Marshal, Cdr. Adeoye Ajala, Deputy Area Commander, Mile2/Obada command, Cdr. Olugbenga Aderibigbe, congratulated the officers on their promotion, adding that their new rank meant a higher task.
In their separate contributions, the Divisional Commander, Abeokuta, Cdr. Olugbenga Odunlami and Obada Unit Commander, Cdr. Waheed Sonuga, advised them to display maturity and distinguish themselves among other colleagues.
Speaking on behalf of the newly decorated officers, Cdr. Kelani Bunmi and Cdr. Ayeroju Haruna appreciated the State government for the opportunity to serve and promised not to let the State down.
