COLLABORATION AMONG SECURITY,
Commander and Chief Executive Officer, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), Commander 'Seni Ogunyemi has said the collaboration among security agencies in the State has stepped up the safety of lives and properties.
Commander Ogunyemi, stated this during a 10km walk tagged "Inter-Agency Solidarity and Unity Walk" organised by the Nigerian Army, the Police, and other security/paramilitary agencies, from MKO Abiola stadium through IBB Boulevard, Sapon, Omida, Oke-Ilewo back to the stadium.
He described the walk as a robust synergy that showed the cordial relationship among security agencies.
"TRACE is always in support of anything that will strengthen the relationship of all security outfits. These unity walks simply showed the collaboration among us that the safety of lives and properties is our collective responsibility in Ogun State", he said.
Speaking earlier, the Commander, 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta, Brig. Gen. Muhammed Aminu explained that the exercise was a routine parade, not only to strengthen the relationship among the security agencies in the State but to foster the spirit of friendship.
According to him, it was physical training and exercise needed because of the kind of work they do, as well as helping them keep fit and be in a good frame of mind to do the job effectively.
Speaking on behalf of the officers, Mr. Nicholas Tamuninan and Mr. Sola Fashina representing the Nigerian Police and Department of State Security respectively, promised to continue supporting the authority in creating a safe atmosphere for the citizens of the State.
