AOOLG TO CONSOLIDATE ON IN-HOUSE TRAINING FOR STAFFERS
In a bid to further accelerate effective and efficient service delivery among the staff members in Ado/Odo/Ota Local Government, the management has ensured all hands on deck to give intensive in- house training.
The Acting Head of Local Government Administration of the Council, Engr. Osiyale Ayodele made this known to the career officers in a meeting at the local government secretariat in Ota adding that there was a concensus in the recently concluded One-day Work Group meeting for Heads of Local Government Administration and Heads/Functional Heads of departments organized by the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission.
He emphasized that the present administration in Ogun State has put the necessary measures in place to make the local government's staffers a world class civil servants for prompt service delivery.
"Even though Ado-Odo /Ota LG Government has been training staffs on a regular basis but needs not to relent on its oars. Issue of training and re-training of staffers was emphasised by Ogun State Local Government Service Commission under the leadership of Barr. Olivia Oluwabukunola Onabanjo.
This is the only way to equip the staff members and take the state to an enviable position in the comity of states", Ayodele said.
Engr. Osiyale Ayodele admonished the department of Administration and General Services headed by the Director Prince Dada Oloruntoba to continue on the already laid down arrangement on in-house training for staffers of the Council.
The Director General Services Administration of the Council Prince Dada Oloruntoba FCPA in his response, assured the acting Head of Local Government of the department of General Services Administration in collaboration with other departments' readiness to build on the existing in-house training plan that has been regular for staffers in order to prepare them for the task ahead aswell improving them on service delivery.
Appreciating Engr. Sheriff Adewale Musa led Administration for his unflenching support towards development of staffers of the Council promising that they will not relent in their efforts to work assiduously to retain the local government glory as the most industrious one in the state.
