BREAKING: Tinubu replaces Kano ministerial nominee, Shetty with Festus Keyamo
President Bola Tinubu has made changes to the list of ministerial nominees from Kano State. Dr. Maryam Shetty, who was initially nominated, has been replaced with Mairiga Mahmoud. The announcement was conveyed to the Senate by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.
Furthermore, the President has also submitted the name of the immediate past Minister of Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo, SAN, from Delta State, for Senate screening.
It should be noted that President Tinubu had previously forwarded the names of Shetty and eighteen other nominees on Wednesday. With the addition of Keyamo, the total number of Ministerial Nominees now stands at forty-eight.
