Today, the 29th of May 2023, marks yet another milestone in the history of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as the country inaugurates her 16th president, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 

The supreme council of the Nigerian Books of Record Research Centre has announced its total commitment to support the new administration to the promotion of national pride, cohesion, peace, and unity. 

This was stated today in a congratulatory letter from the desk of the Director General of the research centre, Prof. David David, to His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he takes the reins of leadership of the most populous country on the African continent.

For the new president, it’s a call to higher responsibilities and a turning point in his political career. 

To continue its commitment to nation-building, Nigerian Books of Record has announced its New Honorary Circle of Eminence for the next four years. This honour includes the new president, the vice president, and great Nigerians from different professional callings of life.  

Nigerian Books of Record, known for its undisputable support of the previous administrations in reinventing the Nigerian global image by celebrating Nigeria’s best, has once again reaffirmed with assurance, to collaborate and partner with the new government.

The NBR has always demonstrated the rare spirit of nationalism and patriotism to project the international image of Nigeria in a positive light by pulling out a huge database of Nigeria's positivity to counter the wrong narrative by the foreign news media.

Nigerian Books of Record as a literary work is a national compendium updated daily and revised every four years during the transition of a new government in Nigeria.

The book is a reference material for students and lecturers in Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education
