2023 GENERAL ELECTION : LG BOSS COUNSELS YOUTHS ON PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE
The chairman, Yewa North Local Government, Hon Gabriel Ogunyomi has urged youths in the council to desist from all acts that can threaten and destroy peaceful co - existence in the council, state and nation during and after the 2023 general election
Ogunyomi,who gave the advice while speaking during an interview, tasked the youths to use God-given talents in contributing to the development of social values and channel their energy towards ensuring the success of the elections
He charged them to be wary of "cash and carry" politicians, who will only use them to ferment trouble during the elections only dump them afterward
Lg boss enjoined youths to shun social vices that could disrupt their destiny, advising them to map out strategies that would steer them towards being good citizens
According to him, doing this would guarantee a brighter future for them,urging the youths in the council to continue to support the current administration in giving the best to the people
"The Prince Dapo led administration has delivered its promise and Ogun State still has a lot of potential opportunities that are yet to be explored. I therefore want the youths to continue to support the administration and cooperate with one another towards the success of general election and overall development of our state", Ogunyomi remarked
The chairman also advised politicians to shun " Do or Die"that this would guarantee a free, fair and credible polls
