Governor Dapo Abiodun led Administration is to distribute, install and energize transformers to identified communities in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area.
The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Community Development and Cooperative, Hon., Abayomi Hunye made this declaration during an official meeting with stakeholders of Community Development Association (CDA's) in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government as part of his inspection tour of all council areas in the State.
While commending Governor Dapo Abiodun MFR for keeping to his promises at making sure Ogun Communities are well illuminated for the benefits of the masses, Hon., Abayomi said this is a right step at the right time.
He urged Committee Development Association (CDA's) to make their needs known to government for support where and when necessary informing them of His Excellency's plan to give reasonable grant to Community Development Association as soon as possible.
Hon., Abayomi, added that CDAs in Ogun should continue to support the Administration of the Governor so as to actualize a better Ogun State saying a good term deserves another.
While welcoming the Hon. Commissioner, the Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Engr. Sheriff Adewale Musa lauded the initiative of the Governor of Ogun State His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR at making life easier for the people of Ogun State, thanking the Commissioner for taking his time to visit the Council area which also doubled as his home.
The Council Boss stated that the Community Development Associations in the Council area remain the best in not only Ogun State but the nation as a whole.
The Permanent Secretary in the ministry Mr. Fatai Ogunlana in his remarks stated that better days are here for communities across the state, as there are good relationship between the Community Development Associations (CDA's) and Government.
The Zonal Chairman for Ado-Odo/Ota Community Development Council, Chief Taofeek Aminu appreciate the state government and the ministry for bringing development to communities in the council area, pledging the continues support of the communities in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government to the government at all levels.
