Ado-Odo/Ota LG Staff Members Urged To Remain Focus With Present Administration
The chairman, Ogun State Local Government Service Commission, Barrister Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo has urged the workforce of Ado-Odo/IOta LG on the need to remain focus with the present Administration in the Local Government in particular and State in general.
Barrister Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo made this statement during the official working tour to Ado-Odo Ota Local Government charging the workers to consolidate on their existing goodwill as this will improve quality service delivery which in no doubt will boost socio-economic activities in the area.
She added that,the purpose of the tour is to accustom the Commission with happenings in all Local Government councils throughout Ogun State and to champion mechanism for prompt development stating that the ongoing tour of Local Government Councils in the state was long overdue since the appointment into office by the state Governor His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR.
The Permanent Secretary Ogun State Local Government Service Commission, Dr Adeolu Oluseun Olufowobi in his goodwill message appreciates the entire staff members of the Local Government for their doggedness and steadfastness urging them to be more confident at all times and not to see Local Government workers as being inferior to other tiers of Government.
Earlier speaking, the Head of Local Government Administration, Dr Adebola Bamgbose thanked the Commission for
the visit promising that the workforce at the local governments in Ogun State will continue to put in their best and not relent in carrying out their statutory functions as and when due.
The Chairman, Nigeria Local Government Employees Ado Odo Ota chapter, Comrade Ogunronbi Oloyede while thanking the Commission for their visit said the staff members of the Council will uphold the standard of the Commission for quality service delivery.
The Commission then, had closed door meetings with the Council Chairman Engr. Sheriff Adewale Musa, the Executive Members and the executive members of the Zonal Community Development Council in Ado-Odo Ota Local Government area.
