Breaking: Ogun Labour suspends 4days strike
The Chairman Ogun State, Nigeria Labour Congress, Emmanuel Bankole, has directed all workers to resume to their duty posts with immediate effect.
The statement reads, “Following the Memorandum of Action reached between the Organised Labour and the State Government, after series of meetings and negotiation, the Organised Labour hereby suspends the ongoing Industrial action with immediate effect.”
“All workers are hereby enjoined to resume at their duty posts immediately.”
The statement was signed by the NLC Chairman, Bankole, TUC Chairman, Akeem Lasisi and Olude Isa, JNC Chairman.
No condition was stated for the suspension of the strike.
NLC Chairman, had told workers few hours ago that the strike continues on Monday and had promised to call a congress to discuss the outcome of the meeting with the government.
