AOOLG,TRACE TRAIN TEACHERS ON TRAFFIC CONTROL



No fewer than 300 teachers have been trained on the best way of controlling vehicular movements to reduce to the bearest minimum the Carnage on our roads.



Olota of Ota, Oba Abdul Kabir Obalanlege while admonishing Area 4 command, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE),  Ado-odo/Ota Local Government Education Sector and other Security Agencies at St. Michael Primary School, Ota said the training will go along way in reducing casualties especially on the pupils.


Olota enjoined the participants to always rise up to the challenges of roads -crossing by students in their various locations as reflective jackets will be given as authority to carry out their civil duties.


The Area  Commander of Police(ACP), in the area, Musa Sanni Muhammad added that the training has come at the appropriate time which will not only reduce traffic on our roads alone but improve the lives of the people.


He added that the 2- day training exercise is a great opportunity for the participants to be part of the nation building rolling out his mobile numbers to be accessible at any difficult task by the participants.


The area 4 commander of Trace, Ajibade Adekunle thanked the participants for their perseverance enjoning them to be more proactive in the discharge of their duties and always serve as a good ambassador of the state government.

One of the participants, Mrs Foluke Folarin said the training in no doubt has  improved human capacity in the control of vehicular movements throughout the nooks and crannies of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government.


She promised on behalf of other participants to discharge the responsibility bestowed on them as laid down in the  traffic rules advising the organisers to always come up with more of this initiative.
