OGUN STATE NSCDC COMMANDANT PROMISES TO BE MORE PROACTIVE
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps in Ogun State has been charged to further ensure the needed synergy with other security agents in the State to protect lives and property of the people in Nigeria.
The Council boss, Engr. Sheriff Adewale Musa while welcoming the Commandant and his entourage at the Local Government Secretariat have this charge appreciating the efforts of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps on their concerted efforts since the inception of the Corps and prompt recognition by the Federal Government.
The LG boss stated that the Local Government has proposed a Security Trust Fund meant for Security operatives in the Council area to boost the performances of security operatives enjoining the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps not to relent on its oars at combating crime at all times as it will reduce the high level of crime rates in the society.
Speaking, the Ogun State Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Kolawole Taiwo in his speech thanked the Chairman for creating time to welcome him and his entourage at the expense of his ongoing birthday celebration.
Kolawole added that the Local Government has always aligned with Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps which in no doubt the more reason while the Federal Government gave adequate recognition to the outfit at the Federal level.
He also said that the synergy between the security outfit and the Local Government which has been in existence before the recognition at the Federal level will continue to bolster at all times.
The Commandant explained that the purpose of the tour is to state their readiness to protect lives and properties before, during and after the coming general election.
The Head of the Local Government Administration Dr. Adebola Bamgbose in his vote of thanks appreciated the efforts of Ogun State Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps at combating crime at the local level.

taking his time to tour the Local Governments in the State as it will further put the officers on their toes at all time.
