OTA LG BOSS CHARGES RESIDENTS TO PRAY FOR BETTER NIGERIA AT 12TH ANNUAL RAMADAN LECTURE
The Chairman, Ado-Odo/ Ota Local Government, Engr., Sheriff Musa has urged both the Muslim and Christian counterparts to seize this season to pray for better Nigeria.
The LG boss, Engr., Sheriff Musa made this statement during the Muslim Community 12th annual Ramadan lecture themed "Youth Restiveness and Social Vices in Nigeria : the Islamic Solution" at the Chief Nasiru Denise Memorial Hall in the Council Secretariat.
Hon. Musa thanked the organisers of the Ramadan lecture for making it a yearly program congratulating all Muslim faithfuls of the council and the world at large for witnessing the Ramadan period.

He enjoined all citizens of the council area to always pay their levies as and when due to the coffers of the local government so as to enjoy more developmental projects from the government.
The Head of Local Government Administration, Dr Adebola Bamgbose while appreciating all Muslim faithfuls urged them to use the Ramadan period to pray for the development of the council area, Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.
The Chairman Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees Ado Odo Ota Local Government branch,Comrade Oloyede Ogunronbi in his speech, congratulated all Muslims for witnessing the Ramadan period enjoining them to use the holy period to pray for the actualisation of the local government autonomy for the betterment of the people throughout the nation.
The Chairman Planning Committee, 12th Annual Ramadan lecture Comrade Moshood Jamiu Ayoyemi said all Muslim faithfuls should thank God for being alive to witness another Ramadan lecture.
He appreciated successive government' of Ado Odo Ota Local Government area for their unflinching support towards the Ramadan programs from the maiden edition adding that their efforts have played major roles in the achievement of building the Secretariat Mosque in the Council Secretariat which was financed majorly through the donations and funds raised at every Ramadan lectures.
He also extended his appreciations to the management of Ado-Odo Ota Local Government ably led by Engr. Sheriff Adewale Musa for their steadfastness and support to the Muslim community of the council in organizing the present Ramadan lecture.
Also speaking, the Chief Imam of the Secretariat Mosque khalifah Nurudeen Ogungbayi in his vote of thanks appreciated the authority of Ado-Odo Ota Local Government for their supports at all times appreciating all Muslim clerics at the gathering for taking their time to grace the occasion.
