 DANGOTE COMMENDS ABIODUN, HAILS YNLG'S ENABLING BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

The management of Dangote Cement Plc, Ibese has commended Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his intervention in the areas of infrastructures, security, transportation and many others.

The General Manager Administration, in the Organisation, Alhaji Abu Yusuf gave the commendation while welcoming the team from Yewa North Local Government led by the  Chairman, Hon Gabriel Ogunyomi who made a familiarization tour to the Plant site at Ibese.

Alhaji Yusuf described Abiodun as a proactive leader who knows how to deploy timely intervention, especially, Amotekun across the 20 local governments, to curb insecurity, also the inauguration of Wi-Fi enabled transportation system in the state to ease movement of commuters across the State

The GM, appealed the Council to construct parking space and lock-up shops in the axis,

to ease trafic-jam being experienced by motorists, pleading also that traders' carefree display of goods beside the road should be addressed, noting that it would serve as source of revenues generation for the Council.

Speaking earlier, the Council Chairman appreciated the management of Dangote Cement  for its tenacity of purpose in keeping the organisation's vision and aspirations aloft since established in Council.

Ogunyomi said that, Ogun State has waxed stronger over the years being a destination of choice to many industries in Nigeria, more especially in recent years under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun, who cares so much about the well-being and security of both its corporate organisations and citizens.

Also speaking, Head Of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Alhaji Ayo Lemose, promised that the Council would address various challenges being faced in the area to improve trading activities, by enacting relevant bye-laws that would regulate the day to day activities of the traders of the area.

In his response, the Awujako of Ijako, Oba (Rev) Mathew Ewedairo promised his continued support to the organisation and the State Governor on the ongoing rehabilitation of Imasai, Igan-Okoto, Ayetoro road embarked upon by the present administration in the State.
