Staff members of the Ogun State Internal Revenue Service (OGIRS), have been advised to open their minds and learn new things in year 2022, to be better in their duty calls
Executive Chairman, OGIRS, Mr Olugbenga Anthony Olaleye gave the advice during a thanksgiving service at the agency's car park, appreciating God for His mercies over the agency and members of staff in 2021, with a hope for better 2022.
" This year , a lot of things will be changing as digitization is taking it's full course in our revenue operations and the need for self development of staff in the various departments will be priotized as professionalism is a tool for optimal productivity". Olaleye said.
Earlier in his speech, The Special Adviser to the Governor on Revenue I Mr Jide Sanwo, charged officers to strive and improve on the job by sharpening their skills regarding digitization, as well as embrace team-work.
Taking his sermon from the book of Isaiah chapter 11, Reverend Caleb Ayinla of Rhema Chapel International Headquarters, Yaba, spoke on the need for individuals to seek God's wisdom for upgrade in the year, stating that a time will come when human wisdom will fail .
" You need the wisdom of God to upgrade and reign this year, success comes when people gain access into God's wisdom, and God desires our access to His wisdom".
In his vote of thanks, Mr Adegbenga Adeshina thanked the executive chairman OGIRS , and the entire management for organizing the thanksgiving session to put God first in the operations of the agency, saying it is the right step to lead staffers into a prosperous and better service year.
