AOO LG BOSS BAGS OUTSTANDING POLITICAL PERSONALITY AWARD
The Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Hon. Sheriff Adewale Musa has bagged Outstanding Political Personality of the Year Award.
Receiving the award at the 9th TMnews Summit Awards 2021, with the theme "Indigenous Role In Solving Social Vices" held at Chief Nasiru Dehinde Memorial Hall Ota, Hon. Adewale Musa appreciated the organisers of the TMnews for honouring him and many others with outstanding awards, promising that it would spur them to perform more in service delivery to the masses and nation building.
He said it is better for parents to give birth to number of children they can cater for with good home training, noting that poor parenting was one of the causes of social vices, as he lamented that society celebrates actors of immoral activities in the name of reality shows, while young stars who are making the nation proud through excellent academic performances are left uncelebrated.
He added that religious and traditional leaders now reward people with questionable characters through titles and awards which are sending wrong signals to the up coming youths that integrity no longer pays, calling on all stakeholders to come together and tackle the issues of social vices headlong.
The Publisher and Executive Producer of TMnews Magazine, Comrade Temidayo Babalola SPMIIM appreciated the nominees of various awards and congratulated the winners for giving the society their best.
He stated that 9th Summit Awards of TMnews was organised to honour and appreciate various people in their fields of endeavours and for them to feel noticed of their efforts at developing the society.
