100 DAYS IN OFFICE: AOOTA LG BOSS DISTRIBUTES EXERCISE BOOKS, LAID PROPOSED LEGISLATIVE CHAMBER




The Executive Chairman,Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adewale Musa,  has distributed over 10000 exercise books to various schools as well laid  foundation for the proposed Legislative Chamber of the Council.

 






The Chairman, Hon. Sheriff Musa made the distribution at Chief Nasiru Dehinde Memorial Hall in the Local Government Secretariat,Ota, aswell honoured the pupils who came first in the Governor's Cup.

"It is my pleasure  to give back to the people who entrusted thier confidence in me with a mandate,steering the ship of the Local Government in the past 100 days has been a very gratifying experience. It has afforded me and the team an opportunity to impact positively on the lives of our constituents for which we could not be more glad", Musa said.


He added that 100 Days in office is not a grand celebration for projects executed, rather it is a crucial moment in the history of our administration adding that it is  an important factor in determining the rest of our time in government.


"As it is our passion to give back to our various communities, we have used the last 100 Days to forge a bond with our Corporate Community in order to establish a mutual understanding on Public-Private Partnership that will help deliver dividends of democracy to our people", 

"100 Days performance is not a time to look back, it is a time to look forward. With the support of our Corporate bodies and the good people of the Local Government, we are sure we will be able to deliver our promises and more", he emphasised.

At the event Mrs Temitope Musa, empowered 50 widows picked from the 16 wards of the Local Government Area enjoining them to be optimistic and prayerful in all their endeavours.
