OGUN ISSUES LETTERS TO NEWLY RECRUITED TECHNICAL INSTRUCTORS
Ogun State Government has commenced the issuance of appointment letters to newly recruited professional technical Instructors in Technical and Vocational colleges across the State from its first batch of the Ogun Teaching Experience Acquisition Channel (OGUN TEACH).
Speaking during the exercise in Abeokuta, Special Adviser to the Governor on Technical and Vocational Education, Prof. Joseph Odemuyiwa said the recruitment would contribute immensely to the development of technical education in the State.
Odemuyiwa appreciated the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for approving the recruitment, charging the newly employed instructors to discharge their duties accordingly, as their performances would be assessed through the learners and external supervisors.
"These sets of successful candidates have gone through the required screening process, computer-based test, oral interviews and micro-teaching exercise where they have been found eligible for the role", he said.
Odemuyiwa affirmed that the standard of education is mostly determined by the quality of teachers in the system, noting that the State Government has demonstrated commitment to improving every aspect of the sector.
While congratulating the newly employed technical instructors, the Special Adviser urged them to give their best to the profession and be good role models for students.
Speaking on behalf of other beneficiaries, Mrs. Olubukunola Famuyiwa assured of their full commitment to impact knowledge and valuable trades into the learners for secured future and economic growth.
