 Gov. Abiodun Will Deliver On His Electoral Promises,  Says OGHA Speaker 



The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Alakunle Oluomo has assured people that the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun would deliver on his electoral promises before the end of his administration. 


The speaker who gave the assurance during empowerment programme organized by a member of the State House of Assembly representing Egbado South State Constituency, Hon. Lateefat Bolanle Ajayi held at empire hall, Ilaro, said that the Governor was determined to spread the dividend of democracy across the nocks and crannies of the three senatorial district of the state.


Represented by the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Hakeem Balogun         implored people of the state not to relent at giving adequate supports and prayers for success of Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration in the state. 


"I want to assure you that Gov. Dapo Abiodun will deliver on his electoral promises made during electioneering campaign. Its just that scarcity of fund has been a challenge. The world economic is going through difficulties as a result of prevailing COVID'19 ravaging nations of the world. Our country is not exceptional and this has led to the drastic reduction in our generated revenue. 


"I will only appeal to us to be patient as this government despite the challenges will deliver dividend of democracy to every nocks and crannies of the state", the speaker posited. 


Speaking earlier,  Hon. Bolanle Ajayi pointed out that the empowerment programme was organized to ameliorate the sufferings of the people of the constituency as a result of the current economic hardship in the country.


Appreciating her constituents, Ajayi implored them to continue to give support to the Prince Dapo Abiodun led government with assurance to organize bigger empowerment programme for people of the area in no distance time. 


One of the beneficiaries of the empowerment programme, Mrs Bunmi Sanni from Owode ward 1 thanked Hon. Ajayi for her kind gesture with promised to make good use of the money given her via the empowerment. She prayed that God would continue to grant the State Governor and Hon. Ajayi more wisdom and knowledge needed to achieve success in office. 


The empowerment programme witnessed over four hundred people across wards in Egbado South State Constituency going home with ten thousand naira each. #
