Concerned by the need for more provision of infrastructural
facilities across the Ogun State, it has be established that the government is determined to explore workable avenue to improve people's living standard
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Princess Olapeju Shote made this known in Abeokuta while responding to the request of the executive members of Tobalase community, Oke Lantoro in Abeokuta South Local Government Area.
Shote stated that data base of needed facilities in communities had been take by the present administration, noting that more effort would be intensified to implement them.
She assured that their plight would receive prompt attention, commending them on way they chanelled their request.
Contributing, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Rural Developmen Mr Adetunji Kanimodo said his Ministry would not relent in performing its responsibilities to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
Earlier speaking on behalf of other members of the community, the Baale of Tobalase, Chief Olú Odunfa, called for the State government assistance to provide them with new transformer to restore electricity supply.
Also speaking, the Chairman, Tobalase Community Development Association, Chief Elijah Gbadamosi said the challenge had affected businesses and economic development of the area.
Point out that, the transformer been used by the community Tobalase and his environment is old and need replacement, urged the government to assist them, saying for the past three weeks now the area has been in darkness.
