ADO-ODO/OTA LG BOSS VOWS TOTAL REFURBISHING OF SECRETARIAT
The Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. Musa Sheriff has vowed to go extra mile in bringing facelift to the Local Government Secretariat, create wealth for the people and realize his dreams within six to eight months of his administration.
Hon. Musa Sheriff who made this known in a chat with journalists in his office said, the move was to create conducive working environment for the staf with well equipped offices so as to get the best from them for overall transformation of the Council thereby restoring its enviable position.
"According to our saying, we should first fix the inward decadence before extending it outwardly", he said.
Hon. Musa while showing the architectural design of a new Ado-odo/Ota Local Government Secretariat, added that plans were underway to extend dividends of democracy to all the nooks and crannies of Ado-Odo/Ota to fulfil his campaign promises for the residents.
Musa enjoined residents to be law abiding, ensure prompt payment of taxes and offer prayer for the success of his administration in particular and State Government in general.
Meanwhile, the Chairman, has described Head Of the Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Dr. Daniel Adewale Adesanya as a professional and a loving administrator per excellence who has contributed his best to the development of the Council, working with him for six weeks was a great privilege which he enjoyed.
The Chairman threw the encomiums during the retirement and send off ceremony organised for the HOLGA recently.
The Olota of Ota, Oba (Professor) AbduKabir Adeyemi Obalanlege rejoiced with Dr. Adesanya, an Ijebu man turned Awori,
for his successful career as an administrator describing him as a master of efficient service delivery through deligence, committment and dedication.
In his remark, Assistant Inspector-General of Police Zone 2, Johnson Babatunde Kokumo, said Dr. Adesanya was a man of excellence in his chosen career, adding that his repute as a medical practitioner would remain unforgettable in the minds of all.
AIG Kokumo disclosed that Dr. Adesanya has served in many capacities in Ogun State Hospitals' Management Board crossing to the Local Government Service Commission, where he worked tiredlessly till he rose to the peak to serve as the Head of the Local Government administration.
The incoming Head of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government (HOLGA), Dr. Bola Bamgbose noted that Dr. Adewale Adesanya is the only survivor amongst the six officers who transferred their services to the local government service Commission, explaining that four had died while one quit the Local Commission.
