NEW JERSEY, United States – Iconic singer, Lanre Fasasi better known as Sound Sultan has  been interred in New Jersey, United States.

Photographs from the burial ground in New Jersey showed his wife, Farida weeping uncontrollably and lying almost motionless on  top of her late husband’s coffin some moments before  the burial.

He was buried according to Muslim rites after prayers by an Alfa at the cemetery.  Sound Sultan died of  Sunday after a protracted bout with angioimmunoblastic T-Cell lymphoma.

He was 44, the family said in a statement signed by Dr. Kayode Fasasi.
