OGUN HOLDS MONTHLY ENVIROMENTAL SANITATION
The Ogun State Environmental Sanitation Exercise for the month of June will hold on Saturday, June 26, 2021, between 7am-10am, with no restriction of movement across the 20 Local Government Areas of the State.
A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Engr. Rasak Ojetola, enjoined residents to maximise the time to clear their drainage channels, clean their premises and dispose wastes accordingly at designated points for the government accredited waste collectors to pick-up.
It warned that anyone found dumping waste inappropriately, would be prosecuted in accordance with the State environmental laws, calling for the resident’s continuous support in maintaining cleanliness and safe environment.
