Yinka Odumakin the spokesman of the Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere is dead.
News Mail Nigeria reports that Yinka Odumakin died of complications from COVID-19 . We gathered that the pan Yoruba activist has been on ventilator in a hospital in Lagos.
It is also gathered that Yinka Odumakin had serious conditions including diabetes, lung-related issues and a mild stroke which he first suffered a few years ago.
“He had lung surgery before he was put on a ventilator. His case took a turn for the worse last week, with doctors concluding he had few days left,” a source told us.
Shortly before this news was filed his fellow activist and wife, Joe Okei-Odumakin , has been informed that her husband is no more.
