For the progress and social economic development of Ogun State, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba Dr. Kehinde Olugbenle has enjoined citizens of the State to live together in peace and unity at all times.
The Paramount ruler who gave the advice during the end of the year get together party of traditional rulers across Ogun West held at Olu Ilaro palace at Ilaro, the headquarters of Yewaland, urged citizens of the State to eschew violence and work together in oneness for the growth and development of the state.
Oba Olugbenle implored traditional rulers and good people of the state not to relent at given Gov. Dapo Abiodun led government supports needed to develop the state, adding that their prayers and adequate supports is what the government needs at this crucial time.
According to him, "I want to use this opportunity to call on all the citizens of our dear state to always embrace peace and live together in unity. An environment without peaceful atmosphere will never develop. All of us should endeavor to live together for the development and economic growth of our state.
"The present government is a Gods own government and its a government of peace that bring everybody together.
"Our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and his led government needs our support at all times. This is the time to give the administration adequate support in order to fulfill his campaign promises".
Speaking with Journalists during the event, the Transition Chairman of Yews South Local Government, Alhaji Rahmon Fagbenro assured the traditional rulers that Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration would continue to support the traditional rulers and institutions across the state, adding that no stone would be left on turned as far as the development of the state is concerned.
Corroborating the Paramount ruler, Alh. Fagbenro enjoined people of the state to continue to pray for the success of the present administration and give the government the necessary support for effective development of the state.#
