Breaking: Ogun Govt. Suspends Iro Monarch over Court Order

 



Ogun State Ministry of Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs had given directive to Egba Traditional Council via a letter dated on 4th December, 2020 to enforce the order of Court restraining OBA NOJEEMDEEN ALANI AROMAYE, THE ONIRO OF IRO from parading himself as the Oniro of IRO by withdrawing the Stipends due to him pending the final determination of the litigation in the High Court.


According to the Director, Chieftaincy Afair, Adesoji Adewuyi he said ” In order to maintain peace and orderliness in IRO land and also to adherent strictly to the new development (Court Order), Egba Traditional Council has as a matter of urgency sent a circular letter to the Ogun State Commissioner of police for the awareness of the new development”
