NEWLY INSTALLED MONARCH CANVASES SUPPORT FOR GOVERNMENT
The newly installed monarch, Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu, Ota, Oba Thomas Fagbayi has admonished residents of Tigbo-Ilu and its environs to support the present administration in Ogun State.
Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu, Ota, Oba Thomas Fagbayi who gave the administration while hosting visitors from the neighboring villages said in order to fast track development throughout the nooks and crannies of the area, government of the day must be supported in its programme implementation.
He noted that time for development has come as the present administration in Ogun State was poised at turning the state around through various infrastructural developments.
"Honestly, it is over three hundred years that Tigbo-Ilu had the last king, which has in no doubt melo down development in the area. Therefore, inauguration of some youths who are enlightened in order to facilitate development will be occasioned for rapid development", Oba said.
He promised to relate with everyone in order to fast track development, urging the indigenes to accommodate one another to foster unity, cooperation and development.
Oba Fagbayi underscored the need for Public Private Partnership (PPP) in community development and nation building, saying government alone cannot shoulder responsibilities for developmental projects.
Oba Fagbayi implored his Chiefs to inculcate the fear of God and embrace unity in diversity which is the yardstick of accelerated and unprecedented development.
Responding, Balogun of Konifewo village, Barr. Sesan Bankole thanked the monarch for the warm reception given to them, pledging their total supports to make the dream of the monarch a reality.
