 LOCAL GOVERNMENT WORKERS IN OGUN  GET PALLIATIVES FROM STATE GOVERNMENT 

In continuation of its resolve to ensure that workers benefit from the palliatives distribution project, Ogun State government has extended the gesture to Local government workers in the State.

This was contained in a press statement issued by the Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Mr. Femi Ogunbanwo, saying the decision was in line with the Governor's directive that all workers across the strata of the State Public Service were captured in the distribution.

Ogunbanwo noted that the distribution which takes immediate effect would end on Friday, August 28, 2020, enjoining all the 20 Local Government across the State to ensure that the allocated items were collected on the specified days, to avoid forfeiture, as no additional period would be given.

He stated further that the distribution would also be extended to the Federal Government workers in the State.
