OGUN HoS CALLS FOR COLLABORATION BETWEEN STATE, LOCAL GOVERNMENT STAFF

Ogun State Head of Service (HoS), Alhaja Selimot Ottun has called for teamwork between State and Local Government Staffers, in order to ensure seamless accomplishment of Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration’s goals.

The HoS stated this when she received the Body of Heads of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) in the State, who were on a courtesy visit to her office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, advising them to mentor the junior officers to be more productive.

"I appreciate you for the visit. I know that Ogun is blessed with vibrant workers. Do not differentiate between State and Local Government, let's see ourselves as one and work towards the same goal. Also, let us support the present administration to fight Covid-19, so that we can go back to our way of life. Wash your hands regularly, use facemasks, sanitizer and maintain social distancing", she said.

Speaking earlier, the President of the group, Prince Kola Akinyemi congratulated the HoS on her appointment, promising their full support, so as to move the State to an enviable height.

The HoS also received management staff of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, led by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Melutia Ogunremi, who appreciated the Head of Service for her selfless service while she was Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, praying for a successful tenure of office.
