The joint security agencies in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, comprising Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO), So-Safe Corps, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Nigeria Police Force, Civil Defence and others have been working assiduously in order to make the lockdown exercise a reality
The team leader, Trace , Area 4 Commander, Mr Adekunle Ajibade said it is imperatives to ensure compliance of the residents of the area in order to allow the governments have a desirable results.
The joint team visited some markets in the area, asked them to vacate the market warning them seriously that any attempt to disobey governments order will attract a severe punishment.
According to Ajibade two vehicles were apprehended which in no doubt will cause deterrent for other road users saying the joint team will not relent in its efforts towards making Covid -19 a forgone issue in our country.
He enlightened the traders and road users on Ogun State Government Policy as regards the lockdown enjoining them to be law abiding by obeying governments regulations on Corona Virus with the aim of eradicating it totally in our society.
