lockdown, Ogun State Government has flag-off the distribution of the second batch of relief materials to another set of people in Yewa South Local Government Area, in order to cushion the effect of the stay at home order to curb the spread of coronavirus in the State.
The Commissioner for Budget and Planning in the State, Mr. Olaolu Olabimtan, while distributing the stimulus package on behalf of Government to the poor and elderly people in Ilaro, said the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has fulfilled his promise to support the needy during the lockdown, assuring of more quality service delivery, saying this administration would not relent at ensuring even spread of dividends of democracy.

I thank God for giving us the opportunity to serve the good people of Ogun State. We have commenced the distribution of another batch of relief materials to the people of Yewa South, everything was well planned, to cover 500,000 households throughout our State and I believe we will do a better job in distributing the package to the poor, to help them at this period of lockdown", Olabimtan said.
Reacting after collecting their packages, Mrs. Modinat Ayelagbe and Madam Felicia Oladipupo, showered encomium on the State Government for the kind gesture to the poor and aged, saying, the action demonstrated Governor Dapo Abiodun as a caring leader, with a large heart.
