LOCKDOWN ORDER: OGUN SECURITY AGENCIES DOUBLE EFFORTS TO ENFORCE STRICT COMPLIANCE

          

The Ogun Security Chiefs, Police, Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), So-Safe Corps and others have urged the Areas and Tactical Commanders, as well as the DPO's across the State to double their efforts in enforcing strict compliance to the lockdown order, to ensure government’s strategies on getting rid of Covid-19, was success.

         

 The TRACE Ota Area 4 Commander, Adekunle Ajibade, who disclosed this in a chat with the press, while monitoring the level of compliance in Ota and Idiroko Border axis, said this was the directives of the TRACE State Commander, Seni Ogunyemi, in line with the State Government’s Security architecture, as the number of cases increases.

          Ajibade warned that Coronavirus is real and if it should spread out of control, it would be ferocious and cause total shut down of the system, as against the lockdown now experienced, adding  that, ‘’as security  agencies, we have to buckle up and be alive to our responsibilities, to curb unauthorized vehicular movements and those roaming about unduly.

          He enjoined residents of Ogun State to be law abiding and strictly adhere to government's order at this critical period, adding that everyone should stay at home and use the period to pray fervently.

          The Owode Divisional Police Officer, SP Olabisi Elebute, added that more efforts were been applied to enforce strict compliance at the axis, as people around the border were so adamant, assuring that efforts would be doubled on the needful for government to achieve the set goal.

Meanwhile, the DPO, Onipanu Divisional Headquarter, CSP Job Bamidele said his team has been working assiduously both morning and night, to prevent further increase in already recorded cases in Ota, urging people to obey government's order to alleviate this pandemic.

          "The rate at which the number is increasing is so alarming and this is sending wrong signal to everyone, this is enough to set necessary precautions, please, stay at home", Bamidele added.
