NIGERIA LEGIONS TO PARTNER TRACE FOR SERVICE DELIVERY
In furtherance e to ensuring safety on our roads, the Commissionaire
of Nigeria Legions has said it will partner Ogun State Traffic Enforcement and Enlightenment Agency (TRACE) to bring sanity on the roads which will boost socioeconomic activities in the area.
The Legion Commandant, Olukunle Obafemi made this statement during a familiarization tour to the TRACE office in Ota saying safety and security of our society is a collective efforts.
Obafemi noted that some road users cannot be easily controlled except with punitive measures adding that Nigeria Legion can no longer fold their hands watching lost of productive lives on the road.
He enumerated their activities to involve ; ;security, humanitarian services, empowerments, community surveillance, crime prevention amongst others pledging their supports to the TRACE at anytime needed.
Receiving the Legion Officers on behalf of TRACE Executive Officer, 'Seni Ogunyemi, the TRACE Commander, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Adekunle Ajibade thanked the Nigeria Legion for showing their supports at this crucial period that their services are needed.
He explained that their should be synergy among the sisters agency in order to achieve the set objectives adding that we must all be part of Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration's initiative of "Building Our Future Together".
